The collection pays homage to the mountaineering clothing and fabrics used in the 1960s, when the Japanese Directissima of the Eiger was first climbed. The Pontetorto merino wool fleece fabric offers exceptional warmth while honoring tradition. Due to its remarkable insulating qualities, wool was the preferred material for mountaineering outfits in the 1960s. The mammoth jacquard pattern and embroidered logo inspired by the original Mammut Garantie symbol give this jacket a retro design.
